I have an 09 Agility 50 and these are some things I have done to make it go 45.
- I installed the derestricted variator bushing, not needed for you since you replaced the whole variator
- installed an 88 main jet in the carb
- I cut the cdi to derestrict the rpms (You should be able to google this, as i did)
- I put Dr Pulley 6.5g variator weights in, but again you replaced the whole variator so it could be different for you.
With these mods i got 45 an the flats and 40 or so mostly everywhere else.
the Dr Pulleys aren't neccesary, but the acceleration will be better, and I got another couple of mph out of the top with them.
I haven't spent fifty bucks on the parts and you can do all the installs yourself with the most complicated tool being an impact wrench.
I did need a large filter wrench to put a 1500rpm torque spring in the rear pulley, but I ended up changing that back to stock because it took away from my top speed. You might try the white 1000rpm torque spring though.
Everybody tells me to just get the big bore kit. they say you'll get the most bang for your buck that way.
hope this helps
