How much is aluminum going for nowadays? As a kid and young adult I made a lot of scratch picking up cans or saving them. I remember it took 24 cans or so to make a pound. $63 is a lot of cans bro, hey free money though. If I remember correctly 35c a lb was the best price going back in the 60s/70s you could get. Most times it was in the 22c to 27c range.

When I left NY, 13 - 14 years ago there was a 0.05 cent deposit on cans or bottles or something...

so 1,260 beer cans.
