Kick Starter
« on: March 19, 2015, 07:01:04 PM »
I got my new belt from Columbia Scooters (BettANDLosing) within two days of ordering, still waiting on Kymco Parts Online, it has  been six weeks. I filed papers with my credit card to reverse the charges to them, what a scam he runs. Belt works perfect but the kick started no longer engages, can't seem to find out why, OH well, to damm hard to kick start anyway.

Thanks for ordering from us! Anyway, did your kick start work before? Does it even try to turn the bike over? Grind noise? Or totally free floating with no sign of touching the ratchet plate.

I never used the kick before but it would turn over the engine, now it free wheels no noise or anything. I got my belt from BettAndLosing, they did an excellent job getting me the parts. Kymco Parts Online is a ripoff scam, I understood but then I have weird thought train. LOL

Can you take a picture of both the variator and the inside of the variator cover?

I got a new computer with Windows 8.2 and my camera is not compatable with the 8.2 guess they want me to buy a new camera with the new computer. I think for now as long as it doesn't make noise I will enjoy the crap out of this 85 - 90 deg. riding weather, maybe some rainy day during the monsoon season I can pull the cover back off and see what might be misaligned.

Good deal, should be spring obvious. It's a really simple design in there.
