when you say that it does not accelerate do you mean that it hesitates/wants to stall when you  open the throttle if so i think the carb needle needs to be shimmed if that is a 2 stroke. does your bike have two bulbs that do not work at the headlight mine does and the light control module went out i think possibly from riding in the rain caused a short at the high low beam switch because the highbeam indicator was trying to light  before that the lights would infrequently quit i then turned the key off to on while riding and it came back on. possibly a rubber cover over the high low switch would help if everybodys l c module goes bad in the rain.  i put led lights where the bulbs were that did not work and wired them in to the black wire at the ignition key. at the light control plug behind the front cover take off the bottom panels too, i used a continuity tester a light lights when there is voltage to find the wires for hi low and power to it. i think the hot wire was white about the third wire on one side the other two wires were on the other side i think the second and third wire. i got a 35 amp on off on switch the one wire on one side feeds one of the two other wires for hi and low beam. only works when the hi low beam switch is at the low position pushing the switch to low from that position turns the headlight off momentairly until it is released when the bike is running. the leds work when the key is on.
