New tool in my equipment bag.

After being extremely busy for 6 days and no scooter riding, I decided to take a ride and the scooter just wouldn't start.

I tried spraying some carb cleaner into the carb to get some ignition but the can was empty.

After 5 mins of no start, I decided to get an eyedropper and take a small amount from the tank and squirt it into the carb and the scooter started right up.

So from now on, a small plastic eyedropper will be part of my scooter tool kit carried with me at all times.

Is it starting up normally now without the eyedropy tooly thingy

When things are setup and maintained correctly you should never need it.  My scoot starts instantly even if it sits in the rain for weeks.  I used to keep starting fluid around for old lawn mowers in the winter or even my dad's old Sthil 041 "Farm Boss" chainsaw.  20 years of use and sucking in lots of junk it didn't like to start.  Last time I ran it was 2008 took 25+ pulls with starting fluid to get it running.  Other vehicles - 1941 international brand dump truck - cracked piston rings - would prime it with a cup of gas down the carb but that was because the motor had so little compression.

Carburetors have an accelerator pump so when you twist the throttle it makes the carb squirt gas.  You might want to do a good tune up.  Should need to resort to that.
