Using the Scribd link above, 24 hour downloading rights is $9. I only got the manual for the Like. The manual looks pretty good. I just printed it today. Looks like a bargain, plus you might find other material too.

This is disappointing, but the manual does not say how do check or adjust the valves that I can see. The manual is well written I think with lots of pics. They show many major procedures, even removing the heads, valves, etc.  Maybe it's so easy they didn't bother? Seems odd.
If the service is $200 as I read some where, if my math is right and its a 4000 mile interval once it's broken in, do you realize that's going to add about $3.50 cost to every gallon of fuel we use? A nickel a mile. 70 miles to the gallon. I hope I can figure out how to do it myself.

Update. I just got off the phone with a scooter shop. They said I dontbreallynneed to check the valve clearance unless I have symptoms such as hard starting, bad idle, etc. any opinions from anyone on this?

Your right, that's strange... It gives the spec of 0.1mm and you can adjust it like any other
Kymco with the same setup. You should check it as prescribed in the maintenence to avoid
burning a valve. Here's the procedure from my bike;

You guys with EFI kymcos should get the kymco scanner. I scored an oem scanner on ebay for $110. If you can't get the oem one there's a knockoff you can buy from alibaba express for about $90. It will clear codes, diagnose faulty parts. Gives you working parameters on related efi parts. Well worth the money for the DIYer. One DIY repair  pays for the scanner in labor costs vs a shop visit.
