UXV 500 - Speedometer stopped working. Any ideas?
« on: July 25, 2015, 03:29:43 PM »
I have a 2011 UXV 500 and the speedometer recently stopped working.   Does anyone know how the digital speedometer gets its info or where the pickup is located at?

I'm sure it's a loose wire because it was intermittently working, but I am having trouble finding it.

Thanks in advance!

I looked at the wiring diagram it is a solid violet leaving the ecu and going to the speed sensor. Wish it would tell me where the sensor is, but of course like any thing to do with kymco it's a pain. Sell it if u have the option, I was hesitant to get rid of mine, but now that I did I couldn't be happier.

My Yager also has problem with the Speedometer when going uphill, and bumpy rides.
