If you've got a .10 cent head wear a .10 cent helmet I see a lot of worthless heads out there!

I've never understood the popularity of the bucket head helmet. I can see it as the most minimal helmet one can wear if one legally has to, but it's as much a helmet as a nipple clamp is a bullet proof vest.

I am using a cheap 3/4 open face DOT.
Over the years I have had expensive ones to low priced ones.
I know that a full face will give better protection but, in 90 degree weather, I cannot stand the heat.

I just open the visor and the vents. I know what you mean, though. On hot days it feels like I'm wearing a ski boot on my head, but the alternative
can be worse. I actually find more discomfort wearing my armored jacket on hot days.
