Need to press real hard on that starter button ?

Sometime the scooter wont start when pressing the starter button normally then I have to press real hard on the starter button and the bike fires up.
Do I need to be taking the switch apart and cleaning some contacts or a new switch all together?

A new battery solved the problem. I left the lights on overnight a few times probably ruining the cranking power of the stock battery.
Bought a new SYTX7A-BS Scorpion battery from batterystuff.com for $32 shipped second day priority mail from Oregon to Connecticut. I read they have great personal customer service.
The new battery has 7 amp/hr and 120 CCA that is a bit better than the stock battery.
