Lack of power
« on: September 03, 2015, 03:20:53 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I love driving my super 9, have had no problems until yesterday. I was driving for five minutes and then all of a sudden the scooter begins hesitating like it's going to run out of gas while climbing. I let of the gas and it appeared to be fine at idle. I didn't want to risk being stuck so I turned around and headed home while it continued to produce the same symptoms. There are no problems starting the scooter, no problems at idle, only when I engage the throttle beyond half to max it will begin producing the bogging/skipping symptoms and if I drive it at the lowest throttle there appears to be no problem. Help, stuck in the Caribbean!

Mine sucked a small pebble from the float bowl into the main jet once.  Sounds like the symptoms I had.  That would be my first check.  And maybe an all around refreshing,  like cleaning the air filter,  new fuel filter,  and new plug. Especially if you haven't done that in a long time.
