Some times those Chinese can really mess up a description using engwish. Why in the world would they design a tail light to flash is beyond me. I'm thinking it's wrong, for the price I probably will take a gamble. The solution is that $84 bulb listed above. Probably for 2, hard to swallow that price for an 1157 bulb. Hard to put a price on safety huh? I've been wanting to add an extra tail/brake light for months now and have been leaning towards a license plate holder addition. There's a million choices and just haven't made up my mind yet. I hate splicing into the stock wiring on a new bike but will when I've decided exactly what I'm going to do. This flashing bulb is plug and play and I like that. Plus it seems like a great safety feature. Probably will order the elcheapo and post on the results. If it's worthless the 80 buck bulb will probably be in my future.

Made up my mind, gonna give these a shot. These were recommended on a Kawasaki forum, 1157 plug n play.     http://www.ebay.com/itm/161644645293?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&rmvSB=true

Now... I put some stickers and a pair of $30 Honda 500x mirrors on the Forza and a $30 take-off screen which I painted. That's it. Oh,    and some nice adjustable levers.....all of which helped sell it according to the new owner.
The Burgman has a new $7 iridium plug, stickers, and a new shorty screen from Ermax ($100) since the stock was horrible for wind into your helmet! Had to change it out....unrideable above 25mph!
Spread over two years I've upgraded all my gear for safety.
Read yesterday of a couple who crashed on their Honda PCXs in Atlanta....both with breaks...one with no jacket

For splicing into the wiring, get those little locking caps that clip over the existing wire. You don't have to cut any wires and it's a very quick way to wire in your extra lights. Since the lights are low current draw, the locking caps work with no problems.

Starter motor relay shorted or stuck closed. Replace starter relay.
Here's where the starter relay is, I'm pretty certain. In a rubber holder.

part # 35850-KHD8-C00
RELAY ASSY START $38.21
Remove seat and disconnect wires to the relay. Test or replace.
Was this replaced by the dealer a month ago?
There is no recall on this issue that I know of.
Hope this helps, post back if still problems.

I would be interested in upgrading my brake light also. Unfortunately I have a GTI300 that appears to be a major project to access the taillight. Will wait for more feedback before I spend half a day dismantling mine to change a bulb. Pease keep us informed on this.

Mike, do you have service manual help for the tail light bulb.
Assumed every motor vehicle gave  an easy way in to those bulbs.
Cannot go in from under the rear fender, or behind license frame.? On my LIKE200i is a plastic panel hiding the bulbs.......come at it from under the fender.
Sad business if such things are buried....

The bulbs I ordered in post up above suck, don't waste your money. They work good as a tail light but do not blink brighter when brake light is applied. They just flash the tail light. Brake light needs to be brighter and flash to get the effect I want.
