Christmas lights!
« on: November 21, 2015, 01:51:08 AM »
Found these in my little coffee village at 0'Dark:30 this morning! Balmy 31 degrees this ride.
Love this time of year.
Wish someone in NYC, or Chicago or 'Frisco would take their scooter downtown for some Xmas lights pictures!! (Man, if I lived in NYC - the pictures I would take with my scooters before the muggers went to work!!)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

If I still lived back in NYC I would head over to Rockerfella Center and take pictures of the Christmas tree. New York came alive when I grew up there during the holidays. I always enjoyed going ice skating at Wollman Rink in Central Park and smelling the chest nuts from the hot dog stands. There is no place like New York during the holidays. NY becomes so magical at this time of year.

I will try to take pictures of Christmas lights on the Vegas strip. I know the Rio Hotel and Casino has a huge Christmas tree. Pictures of Christmas Vegas will be up within the next week. I have a couple of places in mind I will go to take those pictures from the desert. Stay tuned.

Years ago I was in Kansas City and they have some very nice business areas lit up for the Christmas season. Anyone in that area that could get some pics?

I should have the pictures of Christmas Vegas up within the next few days. I took pictures of Downtown Vegas on Fremont Street and of Town Square. Next stop is the new Downtown Summerlin mall.

:) ;D :o 8) ::) :P :-*12 to 120 volt converter (works better if it stays dry) running LED lights. When the lights turn off to on the wattage is too high +- > 20 watts. Scoot must be able to kick off//start with low battery or I have carried a charger.   Next thought is a 120 volt flasher for the LED string and a halogen spot light on the front with a momentary switch and or the same or another 120 volt flasher. 12 to 120 volt converter came with usb ports I do not know what to do with them. Quality is reduced because of the small file size but you get the picture. The scoot is a KYMCO ZX50cc super fever. Tell Rudolph I got a red bulb for the front and I am lit up like a Christmas Tree if he needs help ;D.
