Mod Xciting 500 - airfilter

Bongoman,
you talk about 'unifoam' you put in the original filter. As there is nothing to hold the foam after the paper is cut out, how does the foam stay stuck?
Btw, unifoam is not known here in Holland.

Could you make a photo of the filter?

After I cut the carboard baffles out, I stuffed the unifoam in tight around the edges. There is a sort of lip. Since the engine sucks the Unifoam down anyway, I have had no problem. And it's cheap. $7 bought enough for two filters.

Does anyone have any photos of the KN filter in use in an Xciting or a P250.  I was thinking I would like to do this.

Kymco 250 test drive and upgrades   This is one of those Martin Racing posts. I didn't get to watch it but it was labeled Test ride and up grades.

Moded my airfilter, removed the cardboard element and replaced it with the racing air filters for cars.
