wont start HELP!!
« on: June 11, 2010, 10:43:15 AM »
I bought a new rear tire but i went with a 120 80 16. When i put it on i noticed a major drop in pick up. after ridiing it for a while when i went to crank it back up it didn't start right back up  as usual. i checked and i still have fire. changed spark plug. still nothing. when i went out this morning i almost started the first time but after that nothing.  have i put t much strain n the engine with that big wheel and tore something up or could the proplem be somewhere else?

thanks

i finally got it to crank again. the spark plug looked like the engine was running a little lean. so i adjusted it. it still has never been hard to crank. i hope i haven't ruined it.

Same here took me out off the power band peaking way to early and lost take off at the same time.I hope it's just some tuning at the veriater.Love the the tires 'but not the performance.I'll keep you posted waiting on new ver.Thought a taller tire would give me more top.I did change both.A biigger main might help but gearing seems to be the real problem.lot more stress on motor.I would take it easy till we get it figured out.

You just have to get the rpm's back up. 1/2 gr. lighter rollers, and stiffer contra spring.
