Still never found anything in this screen - except a couple small bits on the first oil change which I did after the first 60 miles.
The big cap is a very soft metal - and after overtightening them some owners destroy them in attempts to remove them.
Spares are available on ebay for a couple of dollars. I take it easy when tightening this cap, and use a new Toyota Teflon/metal washer on the drain plug. (bag of 10 for @ $3.00 on ebay)
Used 10W-40 Suzuki "Performance" oil left over from the Burgman. Have a gallon jug of it.
Cleaned off the bottom of the engine and re-applied some ACF-50 to the engine area, center & side stands and these drain fasteners. Drained the puke tube and lubed both stands. Gave the muffler a squirt of heat paint.
Will do the gear oil when it rains next. Too hot today!
