Street Urchin Scooter Club Ride 5-15-16 1of3
« on: May 18, 2016, 01:12:32 AM »
First time out with the action cam. Let me know what you think. Cudos or Criticism (there's a difference between criticism and bitching).
Stig says he doesn't want to see trees so I rode in the back so you can see the other scoots. OH, and Stig . . . that white Like with the black stripe was sexy. I haven't really been a pro Like guy but that one had me at church on Monday trying to convert. :)

2 more parts coming soon.

Yes, Narrating while riding. Music added in editing:) Wind noise reduced by mic in the helmet. Camera mounted on top of my helmet with supplied mount. Drift Ghost S camera with Drift mic.

. . . and here's a pic of that Like.

Hey Wayne - Nice job!!

Scooters in the viewfinder - easy to listen to music in the background, and not a whole bunch of jabbering!
Camera steady....everything going for this scootering video.

Sure - it'd be cool to see scooters going through Paris streets, along the Pacific Coast Highway, or through the Austrian alps - but we work with what we have.
I'll watch a video like yours.

I mean, as much as I like to hear again "Born to Be Wild" & rap; pavement, traffic, intersections and trees whizzing along - I'll stick around and watch if I see scooters moving.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

As I was reading this I thought has anyone used like a selfie stick kinda setup? That way you could see yourself riding.

Nice ride. The POV was a little bit on the high side i felt, but all-in-all I enjoyed the video. I liked how you captured the surounding scene to give the viewer a sense of place.

I still want to do downtown Chicago at some point. St Louis too.

I was wondering about that. Thinking of trying that but attaching something to my case and have it up and back from me wouldn't at all provide a stable picture (at least I couldn't think of a way).
