Changing oil every 3000 thousand Km or every 5000 thousand Km?

Yes, so , acording to the user manual , I must changed every 3000 km, however I have read somewhere that its every 5000 km , not sure really...

Actually I think it's around 1200 miles or 2000 km, or 6 MONTHS. Mine has an oil change reminder light. I just go by it. I think it turns out to be roughly 1200 miles. Mine is a 2009 year model. But think all of the Xcitings have the reminder light.

THE Longer interval is for the Xciting 500 because it has a true filter. The 250 only has a screen.

Notice that it's actually 2000km. Notice 3O00, 5,000, 7000, and so forth are 2000 Km apart.

By the way, does anyone know the size from the drain plug? 16mm seems to small and 17mm seems to big...

Most oil plugs are 17mm. Make sure it is a 6 point socket or wrench. NOT one of those 12 point things. Forbes is right, the interval is 2000km or 1200 miles. Keeping to that schedule is by far the best thing you can do for your scooter
