Funny true story:
On the west coast they discovered that the very popular president of the VFW would have to resign .....seems he was exNorth Vietnam veteran!!!
I didn't get the vet discount either dedee.....but if/when they need both of us again dedee because pres Trump has pissed off all of S America...we can ask for it then! Yes...you with me dedee?

I know this story....
I'm a life-time member of that VFW in Enon....where that Phantom is parked.
My brother & daughter live in Enon, & I ride through Enon every weekend on my way to my coffee village.
My wife & I will be buried in Enon.
(will be flying in to Tampa in June to visit my Mom)

PS: that Phantom is in no worse shape than the planes parked outside at the A.F. Museum. -I've led probably 150>200 tours of hosp. patients through that great museum over a 15 yr period.

Small world. I know my father knew him from the 13th Tactical Fighter Squadron when my dad was the Commander in 1971 and they were friends later at Nellis AFB. I remember meeting Dan as a kid, my father had taken me out to the aircraft as the Thunderbirds had just come in.
