Heat Shield?

Anyone played around with putting a heat shield under the seat?

    I have definitely thought about that in the summer, it can get quite warm coming up where the seat back and base come together. In cold weather it feels great but on long rides in the summer it can become quite warm depending on how much breeze there is.  Often thought about an actual heat shield or heat reflective stick on material like they use around exhaust systems. When summer comes back I will be looking into that once again, let me know what your ideas might be...

yea I've been using it quite a bit and on the them longer days it gets up there. I was thinking of modeling it off the Honda Pioneer shield they sell for $130.
