Scooter fishing, reprised
« on: June 15, 2016, 11:14:08 PM »
This was a post from a couple of yrs ago, when I tried going fishing on my sooter. (bungied the folded pole across the rear of seat, here in pic) I am thinking of trying this again...because today I caught 9 nice catfish in 2.5 hrs! (at one point had one on both poles at same time! Park employee helped me out.)

(January, 2014 post)
Heading out across the dam to catch my breakfast.

Pole folded across the rear seat, matches, worms and tackle box in the topcase.

High hopes.

If you buy your worms from the gun counter at WalMart - check in the cup to see if they've returned to dust before paying. Mine were former worms.

Rooting around in the worm cup in the dark....looking for a healthy worm - made me wish I had some of that hand sanitizer my wife always carries. My donut tasted very European after that.

The fishing from a scooter in the lake thing never caught on. I think I saw my bobber move, once, in several hours of 'fishing'.

SunRise/Scooter/Fishing. Man, that should have worked......!

I miss the looks of this seat.....

No, no pix....I was too busy catching fish! Best day of fishing in 25 yrs!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
