A new owner of a PEOPLE 50S
« on: June 07, 2010, 01:10:33 PM »
Hi, i live Montreal area (Québec, Canada), i sold my Piaggio Fly50 to buy a Kymco People 50S 4T 2007.
My Kymco only have 2550km, fully de-restricted. I didn't have the chance to see what is the top speed, but i know i hit the 65 km\h easy!

I sell the Piaggio, beacause the Kymco have much more space for 2 peoples, big wheels 16", rear rack, side stand, windshield and many more... Plus for the Kymco People 50S, it's easy to find parts for the motor...

I see they have 2 different model of the People, one model look different of mine!?
I think it's smaller and one place with a 2 stroke motor and the other one have a 4 stroke motor with a different body...

Can you tell me why they make 2 different models???

Is it the "S" it make the difference when i make a search on the web???

I try to put a picture of my People 50S soon!

Bye! :)

Well the American model is just "people 50".

I don't know about the canadian model and how different it looks, but i do know that there is also the GTI version which is only in europe.

Honda used to use the  "s" for single cylinder 4t could there be a twin in the works Ha!Could be a carry over from those old days.COOl SCoot! What size are those tires I like, might fit the 2t.I see they removed the fork sheilds to make them fit.Very nice!

Thanks for the reply I have the 2t if you look at the pic front tire isn't much bigger than a bycycle tire.I just orderd a set in that exact size, wasn't sure they would fit  I feel alot better. Now to get those ugly fork shields off ;D If you do get your camera going could you post a pic of the clearencs on the back tire between the shock and tire got to be tight if the dementions are the same Thanks.  P.S what is the brand of tire

Thanks! Is it tight between the rear shock and rear tire.mine has about a 1/2 inch but its a 100/80/16 going for the 120/80/16 little bigger hope it fits.Just checked the kenda sight They should fit If the co. I orderd from is in the same ballpark. To all else the conversion to inches is great at this sight http://www.kendausa.com/motorcycle/scooter.html.Don't know the quality. But should fit the people 2t and we just seen them on the 4t awsome! Not alot of choices for the 2t yet.thanks again Art
