Geez, this happens practically every day here lately.
Sun comes up.

I carry a small Panasonic camera sometimes....but this was with a not very expensive Samsung cell phone (which I carry all the time in jacket pocket (in plastic zip-bag if raining))

I don't tuck them away under the seat or in the top case.....in case I come upon some deer, or that albino skunk again! And many of these sun rises last only bare minutes.
Using various settings that even simple cameras have these days you can get some neat scooter photos.

You might want to rethink how you carry your mobile phone. God forbid you every take a fall, but if you were the phone could be damaged and you could be injured by the debris. Also, you may not be able to call for help if your out riding solo and you fall. I carry mine in the glove box or under the seat. YMMV  :)

Thank you for your comment Troutbum...
I'm going to expand this to a new post because I think it is something to think about.

Great photos, glad you had a good time.  Are the hire scooters both electric and pedal?

Yes, both electric and pedal.. You can't even hear them coming, they are so quiet and at night most people drive with the lights off, as not to drain the battery, I'm guessing. To me that is a recipe for Disaster!!!!! Plus, they'll rent them to anyone. I saw a few people, who should have never been allowed to be on one

Can understand that.  How many people drive cars that have no idea.  Shake my head at times wondering how they passed their test.
