hand guards
« on: July 11, 2016, 09:51:32 PM »
hello guys (and girls!) i got some of these today,

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vision-Led-Handguards-Hand-Guard-with-light-For-KTM-CRF-YZF-KLX-KXF-RMZ-Husqvarna-Motocross/32640215099.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.58.902p50

they are without a doubt acrebis vision clones and they are absolutely brilliant!!
i still need to adjust them correctly so as not to affect oncoming drivers!!
i had to cut about 1.5 inches off the end so that they would allow full lock.
what do you think?
cheers,
Don

Nice having extra light my concern would be taking away from the front turn signal visibility from how bright these are.

Thanks for the replies.
They are wired direct to the battery via a toggle switch that I used for my old spot lights, now removed, they came with a switch but it is supposed to mount onto the handle bars, it would have meant cutting up the plastic handle bar covers which I didn't fancy doing.
The visibility concerning the turn signals is not an issue as I have super bright leds in them, also, once adjusted properly they won't seem as bright hopefully!
I will try and put a little video on YouTube shortly.
Cheers,
Don.
