Brake Lever adjustment - LIKE
« on: August 21, 2016, 10:29:13 AM »
On my LIKE 125 there is a slight difference in the free play on the left and right brake levers when applying the brakes.  The back brake lever has more free play which I like but the front brake lever has nearly none so when you start pulling in the lever the front brake you are connecting the front brake.  Is there a way with disc brakes to adjust the lever free play.

Does the 125 have drum brake on rear...like the 50?
As to your question- don't know a way to get more free play in a hydraulic lever on our scooter....unless increased lever movement is the result of brake pads being worn thinner from using rears more than fronts?
Would have thought brakes would have self-adjusted for that...maybe not.
There's no difference in my lever movement after three years. ..either end...with orig. pads still in place.

One other thought....is front disc hot after riding?
Sometimes a brake will drag...not fully release.
Happened on some Forza rears

Will check the disc for heat tomorrow.  Both front and rear are disc.
