I could not get nikwax, but found another product 'Storm'  which is also made in the UK.
I put a lot of value in this fact because they are wet all the time, so a product like this will be laughed off the stage of it does not perform....😊

You're supposed to clean them?  LOL...how would I convince my wife that I need a new jacket, if it looks clean?   The dirtier the better, I say!

Update.  Fels Naptha soap worked great cleaning my Fly Terra Hi-Viz textile jacket. I bought a bar at my local grocery store, wet my jacket and rubbed the soap on like it was an eraser. Then took a brush and lightly scrubbed it in. Put the jacket in the washer with laundry soap and let it soak for a while. Washed gentle cycle and it came out clean! The soap has been around for about a hundred years and I think it cost me about $1.50.
