Hi everyone. I've been wondering how my scoot will perform with one of these springs installed along with the Dr Pulley sliders. What are your thoughts?

If the spring rate is different than stock it could have a huge effect on the RPM range at speed, take of and braking. My guess is, as you have asked, is to find someone who has used the spring.

I am curious. Now understanding how the spring works, it's from ably a slow release giving you longer RPM transition up to top speed. Probably little more torque as well.
I wonder what the 800 RPM and 20% means??

Usually +20% means 20% stiffer. This would account real world for higher RPM's at speed, faster deceleration, quicker response to RPM increase for passing etc.. How much different than stock this would be I am not too sure. In the end this could also effect top speed. As it is, with the 14gr sliders, I am happy with the RPM profile as is.

In relation to your question here and the malossi variator on another  thread , the malossi kit comes with a clutch contra spring.
So I conclude that a sports variator is also needed to get best performance.
The cvt system is actually a bit tricky to tune, from my view. Then the roller weights also need tuning to get the desired type of ride your are looking for.

Stay with the stock spring.
