Lateral Band
« on: September 21, 2017, 01:47:21 PM »
Hello,

Does anyone know where I could get a lateral band from (like the one in the photo)?
Some guy bumped my scooter yesterday and, while I can redo the paint job on the side, I do not manage to find a lateral band at the local Kymco dealer.

Best regards,
Cristian.

Sorry to hear your LIKE was damaged.
Have seen plenty of used LIKE body parts for sale on ebay. Might contact one of those sellers for this piece - they seem to be parting out a lot of these scooters.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Thank you Luigi, Stig!

You are both amazing. I wish we had professionals like you taking care of scooters and motorcycles in my country. Unfortunately, almost everybody drives German cars around here, there are scarcely any scooter or motorcycle mechanics or shops and nobody can tell you what is good or not for your bike.

Luckily, there is this racingplanet website which is of great help.
Thank you and best regards,
Cristian.

Cristian,

Just curious, what country are you in? See if racing planet has a website for your country. The site I have been posting is the US version but the company is actually German.

I'm a proud Romanian.
Yes, racing planet has a German version where I ordered some parts from. It's good because it tells what's compatible with your scooter. Good motorcycle and scooter mechanics are very rare here :-)

there is web supplier I have used several times for Kymco parts, I'm in USA, parts come from Romania, if interested I can give more info.  cheers
1st and 2nd usually have an unfair advantage.  3rd is usually the best, can learn the most from.  paraphrased from Don Quixote, over 400 years ago, still true today
