Like the title says, how many miles will a new scooter's tires last, on average?  I'll be getting the Super 8 50R racing tires.

I have a Like 200i LX with 8000 miles. 260 lbs. vehicle weight plus my 200 lbs. The front tire has at least 5-6000 miles to go. The rear will probably go another 2000 miles. 163cc 11.3 hp. I ride on smooth and rough pavement at 40-55mph.With "racing tires" I would assume shorter life due to softer rubber compound. Hope this helps...Len

Riding style, where you ride and the tires all make a difference.  I have had scooter tires wear out in as little as 2600 miles and last as long as 16,000 miles.

On good quality dual tread compound motor scooter tyres in Australia, where theres no snow and ice or sub zero temperatures to worry about, I just got around 15,000 kms on a Michelin Power Pure SC Scooter 130/70-12 reinforced ,    Load index 62    Speed rating P

they could go a bit longer, but its not a great idea.

But what you ride, how you ride and lets not forget what your weight is all play a part in tyre wear.

Michelin say, "Over 200 raw materials go into tire's composition"
