From a scooter to a small pick-up
« on: February 15, 2017, 08:28:42 PM »
After you see my latest creation, you'll know it's been a long boring winter. Sorry Stig, no milk crates and CROSSBOLT here another goofy  looking 2 wheel vehicle you can add to your collection. Just in case any of you wondered, yes I do prefer function over fashion.

That last pic looks like quite a cool gizmo - a luggage rack / barbeque grilling rack combo. Neat!

Dad burn it, I didn't think anyone would notice it was a Bar-B-Q grill. Foiled again. I actually built that rack for the back of my Heritage Springer when I rode out to Sturgis  S.D. in 04. Had all my camping gear, plus supplies for a week. 1360 miles from Memphis. We make it in two days. Close to 700 miles a day. Rack has just laying about since and I saw a way to use it again.

Thanks xsel777.I love riding the Downtown, but I also use it I often stop by a store and like to have a way to haul small parcels.  The cargo nets on the rack will secure just about anything that fits on the rack. Only take's about 15 seconds to release and remove the whole set-up, if I need to get into the under seat storage.
