All weather waterproof cover - need a recommendation
« on: April 18, 2017, 12:49:18 AM »
Hi guys, I need a recommendation for a quality all weather cover to go over my GT300i and keep it dry and clean. I've tried several covers including Oxgord, Budge (the one Walmart carries for $45),etc. The Oxgord shredded in 8 months. The others were merely water-repellent and not waterproof. I'm in Tampa Bay, so rainy season is beginning soon and my shredded Oxgord covered in duct tape is simply not going to cut it. I'm looking for a cover that's effectively waterproof and going to last a couple of years. Also needs grommets for tie-down. Breathable pouches nice too. Heat resistant panels nice too. Thanks for recommendations.

Look at various sites ( Bike Bandit, Motorcycle Superstore, etc. ) . Buy a heavy duty Cruiser cover ( for Harley's and so forth). That's what I use in People S 205 and Downtown 300i. They are large enough to cover over muffler and even brake rotors and are heavy, waterproof, circulation (air pockets) , etc.
