Starting problem mxu 250 (solved)

My mxu used to start electric with no problem.

Today its not. I have to use the start button for over 5 seconds before it starts.
Sometimes its not even starting. I changed the sparkplug already, and its a good spark.
When it starts, there are more fumes then usual, not excessive btw. when ride it, its normal.
I assume its someting to do with fuel.. fuelfilter is ok.

Anyone had this problem before?

Had a thought it had something to do with the heat here in holland (+25c)
maybe my fuel is evaporating from my carburator?

There is no leakage, i can see or smell btw

Can someone confirm that this is possible?

Did a long ride today, and the temp is higher then usual
replaced the cooling fluid and motor oil after that, but
the temp keeps coming up 3 bars...

any pressure when you remove the gas cap.I suspect air idle screw need to be checked had this happen to another bike running to lean on start the heat can do that,try to turn in a bit(clockwise)

Just checked, and there is no pressure on the tank cap.
I will try the air screw later today.
 I think i have to get my mxu to the kymco dealer...

It's a 150km ride to the dealer, but it seems i'm gonna have to..

Just another thought clean the air filter and carb before you drive a 150kl They can cause you these same problems,sound like its fuel air related.Good luck

its back!

Had a mud problem, it was everywere. The previous owner probably was trying it
as a submarine. Ignition, cvt, carb had landscapes in it. Had the engine cleaned and valves
set, brake pads and oil are changed, complete chain, belt, and weights replaced.
