Like 200 battery question....
« on: June 26, 2017, 01:50:01 PM »
The owner's manual calls for a 12V 9AH replacement battery. The original battery is model #GTX-9BS. Almost all of the batteries I have found online that cross reference to a GTX-9BS say they have 8AH. Will the 1AH difference between batteries be an issue?

Please keep shopping for the most powerful battery of the same demensions as your stock battery. Go up in amp hr (Ah) and get greater cold cranking power and battery which will last longer if you leave the key and lights on, before going flat.
I have a YTZ12S YUASA brand battery in my LIKE200i. I trimmed 5mm off of the 2 round posts under the battery box lid and it slid right in.
I have an old forum post re. this installation.
