Super 8 2 Stroke rollers
« on: June 30, 2010, 09:59:01 PM »
Im wanting a new exhaust but pretty skint right now so gonna jst get new rollers, from what iv heard the originals are 8.5 so I was thinking of going for 5.6g or 6g, Has anyone replaced the rollers on a stock super 8 (derestricted) because as anyone owning one knows their quite slow stock getting around 38mp/h max and around 25 on a slightly uphill road. Cheers to anyone who replies

..instead of rollers, you might want to try a free-flow air filter, and a 95 jet in your carb...

..it'll open up the engine a bit and bring up that top speed as well, and create better performance overall...

Freeflow air filters arnt worth it on a 50 even if you put a 70 on it just increases fuel costs.

..not true!!!

 ???

..actually, it's one of the first mods to make if you really want to get some performance...

...i put a K&N on my People 50, and increased the main jet to a 96, and gained 7 mph on the flat..

..it will run 60+ mph...

..on my Agility 50 i gained 5 mph with the filter and larger jet, and i've gps'd it at 52mph....

 :o

..i ain't in it for the mpg...just the mph.....

You will lose some mpg's but the power increase is worth it!I'd look to 7g or 7.5 on the rollers.
