Need Parts - where can I get them fast?!
« on: September 13, 2017, 04:54:56 PM »
Hi all -

I'm new to the community.  Just picked up my first 2009 People 50.  I'm rebuilding it from a nice box pf parts. :)  I had to order some parts from a dealer, and it took 2.5 weeks to get them!  :)

I am in need of a cap for the end of the coil wire, or a new coil wire.  Anyone know if I can buy any good aftermarket parts locally in any stores?

Sounds like a fairly generic scooter part?
Ebay might be quickest if no local scooter shop avail.
Kymcopartsmonster.com has a lot of parts.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Stig's right, most Kymco 50cc parts are generic qmb139 type parts from China.  Very easy to find on eBay, etc.  There's helpful parts places like Scrappydog.com that have useful websites, and tech persons that answer the phone.

Thanks! I didn't realize that some of these parts could be somewhat interchangeable with motorcycle parts. :)  I found one at the local motorcycle dealership. :)

Thanks again!
