how to test Reg. or just buy a new one, I have installed new harness, new coil, new ECU , new stater, to much money to stop now,. would Reg kill stater if it ran for a short while,.

Recommendation is to use Honda reg-rect by Shendegen. Much more reliable. See my post on this (somewhere). Even have the part number maybe the same number as Kymco 31500 or so.
