Yes it was abandoned at the wreck site, for a short while.
Some friends she made up in Alaska were advised of her accident and saw to it that the vespa was picked up and  transported to Anchorage Alaska.

 Stephanie was able to U-SHIP her Vespa back to Massachusetts for repairs.
