Temperature Gauge
«

Hello all.
My GTI is doing some funny stuff. After riding, I would come home and start her up after a few minutes. The temperature gauge would disappear and then after a few minutes would come back 1 bar. See video.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I did change the ground lead from the battery. I'm not sure if this had an effect.

Usually when a whole gauge disappears the connection to that gauge has been opened.

Crossbolt. Thanks. I have not tempered with the connection at all. The temperature comes back after about 30 seconds after starting.

Bad connection, probably at the sensor on the engine.
