2016 new Piaggio B V 350 sport dr. Pulley sliders
« on: February 27, 2018, 12:18:53 AM »
;D   I removed the 17.8 sliders as it would cause the bike to jerk on take off,   installed 16.7 gram sliders and gets good take off , and top end is the same ,  140 Km. and 150 after forever,  that Elec. cut off never quits,   I tried marking the variator,  and the belt goes to the top,  if you want to get 100 Mph. you will have to get the Mallosy kit,  it is a bigger diameter pulley, and a stronger spring in the clutch,   watch Robot from scooter west,

dedee,
Save the 100mph runs for track day.
No minivans with soccer moms texting ....on the track.
I did 85+mph on my nearly 500lb Burgman a couple of times, just to see what all the fuss was about, while checking out the lower revs from the Dr P's.
I understand the new owner of my Burgman in Oregon reg. runs it at those speeds for hours.
Different planet.
Looking forward to my 35>40mph sun rise coffee village ride tomorrow on the Liberty150i.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yes I hear you ,  my speed runs last about 2 min. , always look for side roads to putt along at 80 K ( 50 )miles per hour,    getting a few rides in with the warm weather we are getting, got about 50 miles in today, even removed the moose mitts today ,

Even if you don't want to travel at 100mph, having access to a higher gear would allow your engine to relax on the highway.

A bigger bunch of cc's will let your engine relax at speed.
Tachs vs speeds are a funny thing: according to my tach and speedo. ...my 4 cyl. xB should be able to do 180mph before I hit the redline and have to back off.
