270 mxu speed de-restriction / updated

Hey everyone. I have a question regarding the speed collar on a 2017 270 mxu.  My question is on the boss there are two spacers, a thick and thin one. Do I only remove one or both? If one, which one? I have searched, but can’t find this specific answer. Thank you. Well, I called kymco USA and since I am a consumer they couldn’t tell much. I did remove the thin spacer and it did help increase the speed to 23mph. My dealer is closed today so I can’t call them.

Don't bother with removing shims.
Go to your closest dealer and order the variator shaft for a MXU300, any year, like a 2015.
Replace the shaft and then you have full power. You can unscrew the throttle stop all the way then.
BTW, if you have the stop unscrewed with the clutch still restricted, it will over rev, get hot and melt things.
