Michelin Power Pure report
« on: May 05, 2018, 02:39:45 PM »
Took the wheel in to a Vespa dealer and had this Michelin Power Pure installed a year ago.
This tire replaced the worn Michelin City Grip which had been on the scooter since I replaced both factory Kendas at 400 miles.
The City Grip was worn, but still serviceable at @ 12,500 miles.

Since I no longer commute to work in the rain - thought I'd try the Michelin with better dry traction.
The front still carries the City Grip.....plenty of tread, no cracking, lives indoors if not on the road.

Since I don't do much GP'ing - they work just fine together.
Might replace the 5 yr old front this year.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Good report! Since I have replaced the dry rot Maxxis with Michelin Power Pure, I am very interested in longevity of this flavor especially on the rear. Thanks!

on my 2016 Piaggio I have 9650 Km. on it there is 3 MM. of tread left,  so I am looking for 150/70  16"   tire for the rear
and when you get free shipping and $ 10  off I will buy the front tire too, even when it looks like new.,  110 / 70  16"
I would like to get one size bigger 120 / 70 16 " that would fix the MPH reading a little,  the only thing I will have to play with the ASR traction control button,.  best place to buy so far is byke bandit and revzilla  for this size tire, any one have a better place to buy let me know,. in   north America  most places in Canada are very pricey,.
