387,640 miles
« on: May 05, 2018, 02:18:14 PM »
"shooting for 400,000" says the owner.
"Struts have seized, instument lights are history - paint [applied by grade school art class] may be all that's holding it together",he says.

He only drives a few blocks from house to town center.

He has 6 or 7 more, when this one perishes. All the same  - only one other is art painted.

He's rather a skilled, retired,  mechanic. Owns a mint 1951 BMW w/sidecar, a '30's tow truck & a Red Honda Reflex.....and those 7 Toyota Estate wagons.

A friend of mine has one of those, he's a potter and uses  it to haul his wares. It is in about the same condition and about 250,000 miles.

That's my wagon! Mine is an '89 with only 120K miles, barely broke in. Everything works perfectly: the A/C has never been recharged, still blows icy cold. Gotta love Toyotas.
