Cluster lens fogging
«

Been a while since I've posted new stuff. This I worked on back in January. The gauge cluster started showing some weird fogging inside the lens where the warning lights are on either side of the gauges. I pulled the gauge cluster out, took the lens off, used some cleaner wax to remove the buildup and put it all back together. It looks like the fogging is back and I will have to go through this again at some time when I feel like it. I hope it's not going to keep happening.

This happens on my 500 as well. But in the display area so I can't see the needle properly. I am not sure how to resolve it, maybe seal the lense with silicone?

Happens on my scoot too, but I have a 125ccm "utility" scoot so it doesn't bother me that much, it clears up after a while.
Happens on the headlight as well.
