Clutch nut size

Could somebody please tell which is the size of the big nut which holds the clutch together?

Some people use a large crescent wrench. Hold the clutch in your hands with the wrench on that nut, and tap the wrench handle on the ground. Pops loose the nut. Then feet on the clutch to keep pressure, and remove the nut.

I went and bought one off gumtree. It is as long as my arm.(60cm) Currently it is locked in the cellar, so I unfortunately cant tell you the jaw size.

I remember I was first trying to find a socket that size, and 48mm is bouncing around at the back of my mind.
