Countershaft Seal
« on: July 08, 2018, 05:07:20 AM »
How compatible with the Honda Magna 250 are our Venox's? I'm having a tough time locating a countershaft seal but I have the Honda part number for the Magna and they are both 34x52x9. Any help would be appreciated.

The part number you quoted are the dimensions of the seal: inside, outside and thickness, not necessarily in order.

Thank you, Crossbolt. I was aware of that. The Kymco number is 91022-KED9-900 and the Honda number for the VT250C is 91205-KT7-003. Both seals are listing the same dimensions that you pointed out so I'm hoping they're the same seal.

Hopefully you should be fine if the part numbers match. Good Call on going for a genuine Honda seal!

Is there anything written on the seal that you can look up?

The dimensions are the most important thing for compatability. I seem to recall that there might be other features in these seals that might vary, but it's been a while. But like bolts, they aren't brand specific.

If there is something written on it, I would look that up on ebay (or something) instead of buying a brand name seal. I think there might be cross compatible markings as well; if so there's probably some kind of table somewhere.
