Mo' money, mo' money...
« on: July 11, 2018, 11:52:12 PM »
Saw an ad in Craigslist today for a 2015 Like 200i with 4000 miles on it for $2500.  SO... apparently I can ride my '18 for three years and sell it at a cool $100 profit.  I'm thinking about doing it for a living.

Well, there's no telling what some will pay, or do sometimes.
I once sold a Burgman to a fellow 2400 miles away. He met my first price after deciding from my posts that I had taken extraordinarily good care of it.
He paid @ $600 or $700 to have it shipped to him. (I don't recall - though I'm sure he does)

Does CL have a way to tell us exactly what LIKE200i's have actually sold for?

I'm thinking that a 2015 w/4000 miles could sell in the range of $1000 to $1500, if pristine. I've seen new selling for $1999.
Figure my 2013LX with 14,000 is worth $400 to $750 - which is why I keep it.

But, people do goofy things with their $.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Could you filter eBay by ended auctions? That might give you an idea.

They're worth pretty much nothing in the UK. Mine was ~$800 (with dodgy currency conversion applied)
