Closest I've come to a crash
« on: July 27, 2018, 11:35:30 AM »
Street cleaner working in my coffee village this morning.
Talking with the Reflex and '51 BMW owner over a cup....described to him how I  got caught out by one of these things a few yrs ago.
Cornering on a winter day , small strip of frozen moisture turning the corner with me ---- left by street cleaner a few blocks ahead of me. Nearly went down!
Complained to City Streets dept. answering machine....
Yeah, sure.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Wait, your city has street sweepers?   :o
Two things to consider...
1) The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse always gets the cheese.
2) Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines.
