Important scooterin' history...
« on: August 14, 2018, 12:29:03 AM »
Dunkin' Donuts started in Quincy Massachusetts in 1950.
This is what the original Dunkin' Donut looked like - it had a handle on it - for dunking your donut into a cup of coffee. (This also explains why Quincy was the home of the space program)
Brilliant!

Tim Horton didn't come along for another 14 years, in a place called Hamilton.... Their donuts were shaped like hockey pucks - yeah, not too original - pretty good, but no handles.

Remember, coffee shops and donut shops are the #1 destination for scooter riders, strap hangers and assorted loafers.

You get an early start - you can get the Day-Olds at 1/2 price!

Very interesting bit of history there, Stig...

Remember, those people who dislike history, are those who had bad history teachers...
Two things to consider...
1) The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse always gets the cheese.
2) Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines.
