Front cover electrical part - what is it?

New to me B&W 250. Changed out the coolant; of course you have to remove the front cover. What is that tiny elec. part at the bottom of the cover? Couldn't find anything in the Service Manual.
Sensor for the dash thermometer?

Figured it out. It is a "room temp. sensor". Kinda thought that is what it was, as the dash has a ambient temp display. Doesn't appear to be accurate at all. I guess that is why Kymco didn't have this on other models!
