YUASA battery application guide
« on: September 01, 2019, 10:23:02 PM »
Looking to replace or upgrade your scooter battery with a YUASA battery?
This chart gives a lot of helpful information. YOU will need to measure your current battery, or battery box, study the post style & positions, and apply this info to your battery search.
I did not search my scooter! - I searched batteries of the same physical size.
I have upgraded batteries in 3 scooters using this chart, and am about to do it with a fourth.
Choose your battery - and then search best price for it.

Posting here because it is a little convoluted getting to this chart!

Yeah, I just used it to ,sadly, determine that the little Yuasa in my Piaggio is the only one which will fit.
Can't go bigger on the Ah. So, will pop a new one in every 4 yrs.
Ins. for those cold starts out in the boonies.

I went to Ebay after measuring the physical dimensions of my battery, & bought the biggest, most powerful battery I could find that would fit in my 500. I do not trust lithium, tho. So I bought this....

https://www.ebay.com/itm/154082753955

It's 14 HR battery, up from a 12, so I'm happy.
