To gap or not to gap, that is the question...
« on: August 13, 2010, 12:44:03 AM »

Bought a new Denso IUF22 iridium plug for the scoot and am not sure if I should gap it.  The factory set gap is .8 and the gap for the agility 50 is listed at .7.  Denso says not to gap it - might break the delicate electrode and a slightly wider gap isn't a problem on the iridium plug.

What is the wisdom of the group on this one?

Never hurts to check, Didn't set mine. Works fine, but they could have been damaged in shipping so check.
